The recent increase in U.S. long-term interest rates has caused further damage to an already weakened utilities sector. Two former Wish List companies, GXP and HE, have broken down and could be selected for the Wish List on further weakness. Some targets we are studying are highlighted below.
The other company we are investigating closely at this time is Energy East Corporation (EAS). While previously mentioned, we have not covered EAS in-depth.
